On our national holiday, Australia Day, we come together to celebrate what’s great about Australia. It’s a day to reflect on what we have achieved as a nation and what we should be proud of in our great country.
Australia Day is the day where we re-commit to making Australia an even better place for the future! So why not take this day to celebrate all the amazing things our Aussie cancer researchers have helped to achieve over the years!
If you’re celebrating Australia Day at home with a group of mates and a BBQ why not make it a fundraising event? Ask everyone to chip in and donate to a cause that is helping cancer researchers in Australia take one step closer towards the cancer cures.
We have some truly world-class cancer scientists here in Australia and at the ACRF we have been fortunate enough to help these dedicated researchers fund some amazing discoveries, technologies and facilities all around our nation.
Since 1984, the ACRF has provided $95 million to world-class research in Australia, two thirds of which has been awarded in just the last eight years. These contributions have been made possible entirely thanks to generous Australian individuals, companies and community groups!
So this Australia Day, where ever you may be, why not think about making a donation in celebration of our Aussie heros – our cancer researchers – and help Australia get one step closer to a cancer free future.
