PepsiCo ‘Can Do’ dinner a fantastic success!

PepsiCo staff recently came together again for their annual trivia fundraising night for cancer research – an event which was, this year, called the “Can Do Dinner”.

The trivia night marked the end of a whole month of fundraising, in which PepsiCo asked their staff: “What can you do to support cancer research”? They rallied around a number of internal activities, including a team effort in the fearsome Tough Bloke challenge.

But the highlight of the month was certainly the Can Do Dinner. The night welcomed 160 staff members, friends and family who filled the auditorium at the Canada Bay Club for an evening of fun and frivolity, all for a good cause. This was the 4th annual event, originally created to honour the memory of those PepsiCo team members who have lost their battles with cancer.

Games, raffles, silent auctions and, of course, the all-important trivia made for a fun-filled night for everyone, with over $20,000 raised for cancer research! This was only possible through a massive effort, especially by staff organisers Chris, Merima, Zinnia, Martin, Beccecene, Colleen, Kristen, Suzie and Jason.

Over the past three years, the annual PepsiCo fundraising dinner has raised an incredible $40,000+ for cancer research and we are so thankful for their generosity and dedication! This is in addition to the already amazing support the ACRF receives from PepsiCo through their workplace giving, staff fundraising and matched giving programs.
