Jaylene Davey recently took the plunge and shaved off her long locks for cancer research!
At Christmas last year the extended Davey family donated to cancer research instead of Secret Santa gifts. This generous gesture was prompted by the loss of a dear family member after an eight month battle with cancer in his gall bladder. Jaylene also chose to honour the memory of her uncle and positively contribute towards cancer research in another way.
In the lead up to the big day many family and friends contributed funds to cancer research as a sign of their support of her motivation and cause. Many family & friends gathered together to watch the big shave take place.
The foundation would like to thank Jaylene for her commitment to the cause – we think you look fantastic! And also extend our thanks to the Davey family and all Jaylene’s supporters for their generosity raising over $2600!
