Brave Shave Salons

Stand with the brave!

ACRF’s Brave Shave is a bold fundraising campaign in the month of September inspiring Australians to shave, cut, or colour their hair in support of those bravely facing cancer.

This year, in support of the campaign, we’re calling on hair professionals to become Brave Shave Salon champions by making a donation per haircut or colour treatment throughout September.

Brave Shave Salons receive:

  • An official Brave Shave Salon pack with digital assets to promote your support.
  • A dedicated relationship manager from the ACRF partnerships team on hand for help and advice.
  • Official ACRF agreement, giving you the confidence and authority to fundraise on behalf of ACRF and recognising of your fundraising efforts.

Together, we can transform bravery into breakthroughs that save lives.

Emily Somers is a dreamer and a traveller, a collector and a designer, she spent her days as an Art Director in a bubble of colour and happiness before her diagnosis. Then she got sick. Real sick. She got cancer. Not once, not twice but three times. And do you know what, she beat it. Not once, not twice but three times.

Inspired by her own experience of chemo, cancer, naps, and turbans, she’s on a mission to create some cool cancer headwear in the hope to give bravery to others going through something she knows only too well. Her Melbourne based business full of beautiful things is called Bravery Co.
