ACRF Melanoma Research Laboratories
This grant awarded seed-funding for the construction of two world-class melanoma research laboratories.
This was the third grant that ACRF awarded to Westmead Institute for Cancer Research to bring to reality their plans for new ACRF Melanoma Research Laboratories, which house two international recognised melanoma research teams.
The ACRF grant was seed funding which gave WICR the credibility and impetus to garner additional funding from the government, hospital and university in order to complete building for these cutting-edge cancer research laboratories.

In 2015, we awarded $10 million seed funding to an ambitious cancer proteome project that aims to provide each cancer patient a personalised treatment plan within 36 hours. This will improve treatment outcomes and help avoid unnecessary treatments.
