Gian was building a busy, happy life with his two young sons when everything changed. What began as a health concern became a cancer diagnosis no one is ever prepared for: a high-grade glioblastoma – one of the deadliest cancers.
Suddenly, he was navigating appointments, tests and impossible decisions, all while trying to stay strong for his boys. The future he had imagined became uncertain, shaped by questions doctors still don’t always have answers to.
Like so many facing cancer, Gian is relying on research to bring better treatments and hope for his family’s future.
Right now, too many families are living with this uncertainty. With the right investment in research, we can change that, giving parents like Gian more time, more options, and more hope for what lies ahead. Will you help us?
"I don’t want to be the only one who survives brain cancer. I want it for everyone. Please donate to the research that can make it happen." - Gian, dad of two

Brain cancer like high-grade glioblastoma (HGG) are aggressive, hard to treat, and lethal. They rapidly take over the brain, leading to fast cognitive decline, physical impairment and death.
Only 1 in 10 people diagnosed with glioblastoma will survive past five years, and HGG accounts for a significant percentage of childhood cancer mortality.
Yet treatments and survival rates haven’t improved in 30 years.
The ACRF BRAIINSTORM program is a landmark Australian initiative to fast-track the development of new therapies for high-grade glioblastoma. BRAIINSTORM stands for BRinging AI and Immunotherapy for Neuro-oncology together, using Screening, Therapies and Omics-based Research Models.
ACRF BRAIINSTORM could give patients new treatments within DAYS of their diagnosis.
