This week we celebrate the power of volunteering with National Volunteer Week in Australia.
We would like to highlight the value our cancer charity volunteers bring to our communities and society. We are very thankful, humbled and honoured when members of our community, a group or a corporate partner chooses to dedicate their time and effort into volunteering for us.
This week we would like to say thank you to the following organisations and all the individuals involved in volunteering their time and skills:
The support of our volunteers is an integral part of the Australian Cancer Research Foundation to ensure we continue to reduce the impact of cancer through world class cancer research and so we are extremely grateful for all they do.
Becoming a cancer charity volunteer can be a most rewarding experience! Volunteering is a positive and inspiring way to help in the fight against cancer and your enthusiasm, positivity and a dedication are the only qualifications you need!
We’re currently recruiting for the following sporting events!
City2Surf – 10 August
If you can’t participate in the run and still want to lend a helping hand, why not register your interest in helping us on the day? As an ACRF volunteer you’ll help to share the love and congratulate our runners after they’ve crossed the finish line.
Blackmores Sydney Running Festival – 21 September
We are looking for 30 wonderful event volunteers to help on the day. At this stage our group will be based at the iconic Sydney Opera House, finish line 1. Help us cheer on our runners as they smash through that finish line!
