Run Berlin 2018, only one place left!
There is one place left on team ACRF for one lucky runner to compete in the world-class Berlin Marathon 2018. The race, known for being one of the flattest and fastest tracks in the world, will take place in September. This iconic track is a must do for marathon runners, holding the title of most marathon world records set on its course, and colloquially known as one of the world’s Major Top 5. Definitely a bucket list item!
If you have never run a marathon before, don’t be discouraged. The track has also been described as a great starter course for amateur runners due to its flatness and the cool September weather. The official marathon distance is 42.195 kilometres and it draws some 40,000 runners among professionals and amateurs and over one million spectators. The picturesque course starts at the iconic Brandenburg Gate and passes along some of the city’s landmarks like the Reichstag, the Berliner Dom and Potsdamer Platz. This is the 3rd year ACRF have offered a coveted Berlin marathon placement to the fundraising community at ACRF due to the popularity of the event. This year is your chance to take part and run to outsmart cancer.
