The Kempsey Cancerians Committee has been raising funds for the Australian Cancer Research Foundation for 20 years and ACRF's Chief Executive, David Brettell, speaking at the 2007 Annual Sponsors' Ball, acknowledged their special efforts, particularly President, Helen Packwood, Alison Mavin and Brian and Kay Irvine and their long term sponsors who have been supporting the committee since its inception.  Read more on Kempsey's sponsors and supporters and check out the pics from the 2007 Gala Ball.  

Kempsey Annual Sponsors Ball ... For the last twenty one years, this creative committee has produced an event that is the talk of Kempsey. This year's Let's Party theme was celebrating the Committee's 21st ball raising mroe than $35,000 for ACRF's cancer research grants. 

An Affair to Remember... The night of the 2007 Kempsey Cancerians Ball will be remembered by Kempsey for a long time.  Kempsey-McLeay's RSL Club was magnificently transformed to stage "A Grande Affair", the 20th Anniversary fundraising ball to be staged by the Kempsey Cancerians for the Foundation.

19th Annual Gala Ball... A capacity crowd packed the Kempsey-McLeay RSL Club for a night of fine food, fabulous auctions and dancing until 2am. With the theme of 'Treasures of the Sea, this event raised over $34,000. Read more news...
