2008 Grants - call for applications closed Friday May 9, 2008.
The call for applications for ACRF's 2008 Grants has now closed.
Applications approaching $50 million have been received and will be assessed by the MRAC to determine which projects will move to the second stage.
The Board of Trustees will award grants of between $1.5 million to $10 million, subject to the quality of applications received for 2008.

2007 Grant awards announced
After receiving a record number of applications for the 2007 grant round, ACRF announced three major grants totalling $10.9 million in December 2007. The recipeints were
$5 million - Centenary Institute of Cancer Research and Sydney Cancer Centre. Details here.
$3.2 million - UQ Diamantina Institute for Cancer Immunology & Metabolic Medicine. Details here.
$2.7 million - QIMR Centre for Cancer Epigenetics. Details here.
A special, one-off $3.1 million grant for a breakthrough research project into childhood cancer was announced in 2007. Read about this grant here.
Two earlier grants were approved by the Board of Trustees for 2007 were:
$1.1m to Menzies Research Institute (Tasmania) for establishment of the ACRF Tasmanian Inherited Cancer Centre. Details here.
