Research Fellow

Research Interest: Dr Patterson is interested in cancer genetics and the identification of causative genes that increase risk of developing cancer. Work is currently focused on prostate cancer where Dr Patterson works closely with Dr. Dickinson, Dr Jim Stankovich and Dr Russell Thomson.

Research Projects:

1. Understanding the role of the integrin alpha 2 gene (ITGA2) in prostate cancer

2. Identification of genes contributing to prostate cancer
