Cancer research projects by state
The Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) supports the best and brightest cancer researchers Australia-wide, and welcomes research grant applications from every Australian State and Territory.
To date, the Foundation has provided 41 grants totalling almost $71 million to cancer research institutes around Australia, including: ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, TAS & WA.
Each year ACRF awards grants between $1.5million and $10million to leading Australian researchers who aim to prevent, diagnose, treat and defeat all types of cancer. ACRF funds, exclusively, infrastructure and capital works for projects at the forefront of medical research, with research projects selected based on scientific excellence.
