This September sees the Australian Cancer Research Foundation ‘Get Blue’ for a full month to raise awareness for cancers affecting men.

Supporting the Australian Cancer Research Foundation and Bowel Cancer Australia, Blue September launches across the nation next month, and it is about one thing: facing up to cancer in men.

The Blue September campaign seeks to raise funds for ground breaking cancer research, as well as helping men reduce the risk of developing cancer by making better lifestyle choices

With your help we can raise awareness to help prevent some of the most common cancers affecting men: prostate cancer, bowel cancer, lung cancer, melanoma and testicular cancer.

There are many important ways men can reduce their cancer risk:

Take care when in the sun

Quit smoking or help a mate quit

Aim for a healthy body weight

    Be physically active

    Reduce alcohol intake

    Get regular (age appropriate) check-ups

Get Blue this September

Blue Friday

Be sure to join in all the fun during Blue September’s main day on 3rd September – Blue Friday, the day we’re calling on ALL Australians to GET BLUE!

Get Involved

There are lots of ways you can get involved and help prevent cancer in men – you can volunteer, organise your own Blue September fundraiser, make a blue donation for cancer in men, or even celebrate Father’s Day with a gift to cancer research.

This September provides the opportunity for us all to focus on the men in our lives. So let’s all ‘Get Blue’ to  raise awareness for cancer in men.
